This subject was already addressed in my other thread under Anita Blake, but after spending much time reading these type of works from Laurel K. Hamilton and others, I've been thinking about which ones I could easily re-read over and over again and which ones I wished I didn't waste my money on.
Because of this I can easily think of at least ten books and authors I could easily recomend to anyone interested, but I'm also curious what books others would recomend and what are their own top ten.
But because I've come to read so many books of late, I'm just going to generalize what I like even in group series.
Thanks to some of the posts in the Anita thread, I've read some of those books what others said was worth reading and many are in my top choices.
Of course I recommend all Anita Blake books by Laurel K. Hamilton.
If you don't expect that much sex in her books, but love a great build up, you really should check out all the Rachel Morgan books by Kim Harrison.
Even though it's part of a series of books, I can only recommend; 'My Sister is a Werewolf' by Cathy Love.
Like Anita and Rachel, I think you should also take a peek at all the Kitty Norville books by Carrie Vaughn. The sex may not be much or long, but her books make for good reading in my opinion.
Recently, I've read; 'Full Moon Rising' by Keri Arthur and found the mature content almost as great as Laurel's books and worth checking out. Personally, I'm eager to start reading; 'Kissing Sin' her second book to see what her heroine Riley Jensen does in and out the bed next!
